The United States wants to ensure international student know what is required to work in the United States. Concordia University students originating from different parts of the world recently got a chance to ask their questions about work visa eligibility to two of our Consular officers. They had the opportunity to learn about the different types of work visas, the application process, the qualifications required, and more. The presence of U.S. Consular officials who work with these issues every day helped students know what to expect when applying for a work visa and the common mistakes people make when applying.
We also made a short presentation on study opportunities in the United States. The EducationUSA website provides practical information on how to navigate the application process to U.S. colleges and universities, and how to apply for scholarships and financial aid.
