U.S. Embassy Ottawa Co-Hosts The Polar Sea Panel Discussion and Documentary Screening

Following the screening attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion with Kevin McMahon (The Polar Sea filmmaker), Richard Tegner (explorer), Dr. George Divoky (Director Friends of Cooper Island) and Dr. Willow Scobie (University of Ottawa Arctic Sociologist).

The Polar Sea offers a panoramic view of the Arctic and its numerous aspects: climate change, oceans, marine mammals, energy, and Inuit culture. Learn how the film was produced in some of the most rugged terrain on Earth.
