President Trump has directed the closure of all Federal offices for Monday, December 24, 2018.
In accordance with the President’s directive, the U.S. Embassy in Ottawa and all U.S. Consulates in Canada will be closed for normal business, including routine American citizen and visa services normally provided to the public, on December 24, 2018. Individuals with American Citizen Services or visa appointments scheduled on December 24 will be contacted to reschedule their appointments.
All posts throughout Canada will resume normal business operations on December 27, 2018.
