Event: Please be aware that on Saturday, November 17, 2018 a demonstration is scheduled to take place in Halifax from 13:00 – 15:00 to protest the Halifax International Security Forum. Demonstrators will be gathering in the Halifax Freedom and Peace Park (formerly known as Cornwallis Park), across the street from the main entrance of the Westin Hotel.
Actions to Take:
- Avoid the Halifax Freedom and Peace Park.
- Exercise caution in the vicinity of large gatherings or protests.
- Monitor local media for updates.
- Keep a low profile.
