Quebecer Selected to Take Part in 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Summit in India

The United States Consulate General in Montreal is pleased to announce that Gabriel Bran Lopez, President and Founder of Montreal-based Youth Fusion, has been selected to attend the 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Summit. The United States and India will co-host the 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Hyderabad, India, November 28-30. Mr. Bran Lopez, nominated and sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, will join 1,500 delegates from around the world.

Advisor to the President Ivanka Trump will lead the U.S. contingent to the Summit, which will focus on supporting women entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth globally.

Participants at this year’s Global Entrepreneurship Summit represent four key industry sectors: Energy and Infrastructure, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Financial Technology and Digital Economy, and Media and Entertainment. The participants include nearly 300 investors and ecosystem supporters who will catalyze investment and networking at the Summit.

“I am proud to be representing Canada, Quebec, and Montreal in this Summit because Youth Fusion’s innovative model touches entrepreneurship and digital projects with hands-on solutions that can be replicable anywhere in the world,” said Gabriel Bran Lopez.
