System for Award Management (SAM)

The System for Award Management (SAM) is an official website of the U.S. Government. There is no cost to use SAM. You can use the SAM website for FREE to:

  • Register to do business with the U.S. Government
  • Update or renew your entity registration
  • Check status of an entity registration
  • Search for entity registration and exclusion records

All contractors must be registered in the SAM Database prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 5.204-7.  Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. The guidelines for registration in SAM are available at the following links:

Be cautious if you receive an email from a company claiming to represent SAM.gov or offering to help you register in SAM.gov asking you to contact them and pay them money.  These messages are not from the Federal Government.  It is FREE to register in SAM.gov for any entity.

The USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS), Global Programs (GP) Trade Missions and Shows (TMS) Division coordinates the implementation of USDA Agribusiness Trade Missions (ATMs) to countries around the world.  These missions enable U.S. agricultural producers to access new or expand existing international markets by establishing partnerships through sales in agri-food production, processing, inputs, and value-added products.  ATMs comprise a critical USDA program for the promotion of U.S. agricultural exports by providing opportunities for U.S. exporters to build relationships with potential customers overseas, gather market intelligence, and generate sales of U.S. agricultural and food products.

The TMS Division, seeks support from a local Contractor in Vancouver, Canada, or within close proximity to provide Implementation Services for the USDA Agribusiness Trade Mission to Vancouver, Canada.  These Services will include the following:

  • Business Recruitment and Matchmaking
  • Business-to-Business Meeting Coordination and Facilitation
  • Logistics Management, including Transportation
  • Development of Informational Materials
  • Interpretation and Materials Translation, as necessary
  • Securing Hotel Subcontract and Meeting Space

The US Embassy in Ottawa has a requirement to renovate the kitchen in the designated Deputy Charge’ d’ Affaires Residence (OCR) at 246 Rockliffe Road in Ottawa. The work shall be done as per attached “Final Kitchen Design Concept” and statement of work. The contractor requires experienced trades persons to execute the work in accordance with Ontario building code requirements and manufacturer installation instructions. The vendor shall furnish all items required as listed in the pricing and detailed requirements section of this RFQ.
