The U.S. Consulate Toronto, the Centre for the Study of the United States and the Munk School of Global Affairs of the University of Toronto partnered together to organize “Politics and Pizza: Watching the U.S. Midterm Election Returns” event on November 4,2014 at the Munk School of Global Affairs. The event was attended by the U.S. Consul General James Dickmeyer, representatives of Democrats and Republicans Abroad, faculty and students of the Munk School of Global Affairs as well as the U.S. political watchers. During his speech, the Consul General welcomed all the students, faculty members, representatives of political parties, and consulate officers to watch American democracy unfold.
