Acting Special Representative for Global Partnerships Thomas Debass visited Waterloo on August 30, 2016 to meet with the tech and innovation community as well as to visit the educational institutions. As part of his visit, he was interviewed by Inside the Issues Podcast at the Center for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) and discussed Diplomacy Lab and UN Sustainability goals. During the interview, Mr. Debass spoke about the public-private-partnerships including his most successful partnerships to date: Diplomacy Lab.
Diplomacy Lab is a public-private partnership that affords university students and faculty members from across the country the opportunity to propose innovative policies to U.S. DOS officials to address foreign policy challenges.
