New Consul General Steven Giegerich and his husband Daniel Chauzy greet Halifax Mayor Mike Savage as he arrives at the Consul General’s welcoming reception.

September 28th was a lovely summer-like evening when Ambassador Bruce Heyman and Country Public Affairs Officer Kay Mayfield were on hand for a reception to welcome Consul General Steven Giegerich to Halifax. Over 100 people gave a warm Atlantic Canadian welcome to CG Giegerich, his husband Daniel Chauzy, and their daughter.
