System for Award Management (SAM)

The System for Award Management (SAM) is an official website of the U.S. Government. There is no cost to use SAM. You can use the SAM website for FREE to:

  • Register to do business with the U.S. Government
  • Update or renew your entity registration
  • Check status of an entity registration
  • Search for entity registration and exclusion records

All contractors must be registered in the SAM Database prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 5.204-7.  Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. The guidelines for registration in SAM are available at the following links:

Be cautious if you receive an email from a company claiming to represent SAM.gov or offering to help you register in SAM.gov asking you to contact them and pay them money.  These messages are not from the Federal Government.  It is FREE to register in SAM.gov for any entity.

The United States Consulate General in Vancouver is seeking proposals for an elevator replacement in its downtown office space. Additional information is included in the solicitation document below.

U.S. Consulate General – Toronto is seeking Requests for Quotations (RFQ) from reliable companies who are able to redesign rain management systems and repair damaged siding at the Consul General’s Residence (CGR) at 152 Warren Rd, Toronto.

The Contractor will be responsible to provide all installation services including labor, materials, and supervision. The Government will pay the Contractor the firm fixed price of the contract. The Embassy of the United States of America invites you to submit a price quotation to develop market research reports on the food and beverage industry in the following major cities: Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Halifax.

The objective of each report is to provide an overview of the retail, e-commerce, food processing, and hotel, restaurant, and institutional (HRI) landscape, highlighting the market opportunities and challenges in each city.  The primary target groups of these reports are new-to-export and new-to-market U.S. companies that are interested in gaining in-depth information on each city.  The reports serve as market intelligence resources to help them prepare their “Go-to-Market” plan for the Canadian market and target provinces/cities offering the highest potentials for success.

The U.S. Embassy Ottawa requires a competitive quote on the supply and delivery of a Compact Tractor.  The vendor shall furnish all items required as listed in the pricing and detailed requirements section of this RFQ.

The Embassy of the United States of America in Ottawa invites you to submit a quote for the supply and installation of new office workspaces, both enclosed and cubicle, while incorporating as much as possible the existing office furniture. The United States Government (USG), Department of State (DOS), has a requirement to extend and renovate an existing patio at the Consul General’s Residence (CGR) at 152 Warren Rd, Toronto. As such, the USG requires quotations for a contractor to complete the work.

The specific requirements for the project are as follows:

  1. Reset shifted stones. (Front patio)
  2. Waterproofing front patio.
  3. Reinstall missing stones (Back patio).
  4. Application of polymeric sand over stones (Back patio).
  5. Extension of the back patio. Maintain the same appearance if at all possible.

The Contractor will be responsible to provide all installation services including labor, materials, and supervision. The Government will pay the Contractor the firm fixed price of the contract. The United States Consulate General in Vancouver is seeking quotations for call answering services to assist with customer service operations. Additional information is included in the attached Request for Quotations. Embassy of the United States of America in Ottawa has a requirement for the construction of structural landscape retaining walls at the U.S. Government premises located at 1500 Lisgar Road, Ottawa.

The Contractor will furnish all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment to renovate the existing washrooms located in the elevator lobby.  The current washrooms are outdated with poor lighting and require upgrades to all fixtures and finishes. The interior executive washroom will require a complete renovation, replacing all items/fixtures to meet building base standards. The interior two washrooms and shower room require an update to existing fixtures, tile throughout, replace existing shower, and install a sink. Build a completely new washroom on the SE side of the 10th floor – a double bathroom with one bathroom to be ADAD compliant.

Renovate existing kitchen on West side of the Consulate to base building standards.

The U.S Consulate General in Calgary requires the Contractor shall provide and install a State Department sanctioned 10 windows intercom system for U.S. Consulate – Calgary, AB in accordance with schedule of supplies, services, all labor, engineering, materials, tools, supplies, transportation, travel, insurance, overhead, and profit.

Remove and replace current microphones in the interview windows in the consular section. The system will have the ability to page into the waiting area as well as integrate with a GFE queuing systems. Propose a plan to design, program, integrate, install and commission the 10 consular windows system. Provide headsets and headset connections at each window for optional use by interviewer.

The U. S. Consulate General Toronto invites you to submit a quotation for elevator modernization project for the elevator at the U.S. government office building located at 360 University Avenue, Toronto, ON, M5G 1S4. The U.S. Consulate General in Montreal has a requirement for installing a Natural Gas Generator 80KW.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.
