System for Award Management (SAM)

The System for Award Management (SAM) is an official website of the U.S. Government. There is no cost to use SAM. You can use the SAM website for FREE to:

  • Register to do business with the U.S. Government
  • Update or renew your entity registration
  • Check status of an entity registration
  • Search for entity registration and exclusion records

All contractors must be registered in the SAM Database prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 5.204-7.  Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. The guidelines for registration in SAM are available at the following links:

Important Notice

Be cautious if you receive an email from a company claiming to represent SAM.gov or offering to help you register in SAM.gov asking you to contact them and pay them money.  These messages are not from the Federal Government.  It is FREE to register in SAM.gov for any entity.

The Embassy of the United States of America in Ottawa invites you to submit a quote for the supply and installation of a security cage around an x-ray machine located at the embassy warehouse. Onsite viewing of current layout and proposed layout will be held on the 5th of March, between the hours of 1130 and 1230. Quotes may be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Quote Enclosed –” on or before 4:00 P.M. EST on the 12th of March 2021. No proposal will be accepted after this time. Embassy of the United States of America in Ottawa has a requirement for gardening, lawn care, fertilization and irrigation services at U.S. Government premises located at 490 Sussex Drive, 1500 Lisgar Road and 246 Rockcliffe Road in Ottawa.

The Embassy of the United States of America in Ottawa invites you to submit a quote for the supply and installation of new enclosed office workspace while incorporating as much as possible the existing office furniture.

U.S. Consulate General – Toronto is seeking Requests for Quotations (RFQ) from reliable vendors who are able to do architectural and engineering design and feasibility assessment report on the sunroom renovation project at the U.S. Consul General, Toronto’s residence at 152 Warren Road, Toronto M4V 2S5.

The Contractor will be responsible to provide all installation services including labor, materials, and supervision. The Government will pay the Contractor the firm fixed price of the contract. U.S. Embassy in Ottawa has a requirement to replace the existing hot water boiler and associated components (storage tank, pumps, venting, etc.) with new components, as well as incorporate some redundancies.
