Earth Day Art Contest Prizes Awarded

Myah, our first place winner, accepts her prize at a student assembly held at Clayton Park Junior High.

Just in time for Earth Day, Consul General Richard Riley visited three schools in the Halifax/Dartmouth area to deliver the top prizes in the Consulate’s 2015 Earth Day Art Contest.

The winning students talked about how their art work depicted what Earth day meant to them. Along with the prizes presented to the students, Consul General Riley was pleased to present a selection of environment themed books to the schools’ libraries.
