With information overload coming at you from all directions – the TV, the radio, your smart phone, your tablet, your desktop, your four-year-old – sometimes it’s nice to have one document of clearly organized information that will make you stop and say, “I didn’t know that.”

The U.S.-based Wilson Center has such documents. As a key non-partisan forum for tackling global issues through independent research, open dialogue and actionable ideas, their “I Didn’t Know That” Series tackles all those things in easy to read two-pagers put together by the Center’s Canada Institute in D.C.

Earlier this week, the Canada Institute hosted an update event for Beyond the Border’s third anniversary. The discussion focused on the 2013 annual implementation report which highlighted the various accomplishments (and challenges) of the process to date.

Beyond the Border is a bi-lateral agreement aimed at guarding the long-term economic well-being and security of Americans and Canadians by easing border congestion, enhancing security, and improving the largest trading relationship in the world.
