Demonstration Alert – U. S. Consulate General, Montreal, Canada

Location: Please be aware that on Saturday, November 3rd and Thursday November 8th, 2018 there are two protests scheduled to take place in Montreal.
On Saturday, November 3rd protesters will be gathering at 2:00pm in front of the U.S. Consulate.
On Thursday, November 8th the protesters will be gathering at 11:00 a.m. in front of the French Consulate. Protesters will then reportedly depart the area heading towards the U.S. Consulate and onward to Cabot Square. The event is reported to end at 2:00 p.m.
Actions to Take:
- Avoid the areas of the demonstrations.
- Exercise caution if unexpectedly in the vicinity of large gatherings or protests.
- Monitor local media for updates
- Keep a low profile.
