Representatives from all over the U.S., including places closer to Canada such as Illinois and Pennsylvania, have gathered at this year’s Canadian Restaurant and Food services Association (CRFA) Show in Toronto.
The annual CRFA Show is a chance for people involved in food service and restaurants, everything from menus to plates to food and drinks and more – to meet, show their products and see what is trending in the exciting world of hospitality – a booming industry with lots of co-operation between Canada and the U.S.
The Americans had ample floor space at the large Direct Energy Centre on Toronto’s Exhibition grounds with great food demonstrations, tourism pamphlets and magazines, and friendly representatives with ready answers to all questions.
The Agricultural Attaché for the U.S. Foreign Agricultural Service Jeff Zimmerman was on hand and noted that a lot of different states were being represented adding, “Canada is a huge market for the U.S., only second to China these days.”
