On Thursday, October 23rd the United States Ambassador to Canada, Bruce Heyman spoke at the 2014 Ontario Economic Summit.
The Ontario Economic Summit is an annual three day event held in Niagara on the Lake that brings together private and public sector leaders to share insights, explore partnership opportunities, and shape public policy.
Ambassador Heyman spoke about how to leverage a strong bilateral trading relationship to address shared problems and improve North American competitiveness by working together. He discussed the need to do more and apply state-of-the-art solutions to the border and communications and align regulatory processes. He also recommended that the U.S. and Canada need to make it easier for companies to comply with regulations, to create wealth, and to travel.
