U.S. Consulate Winnipeg was pleased to welcome U.S. Ambassador to Canada Bruce Heyman and Mrs. Vicki Heyman to Winnipeg on May 20. During their visit the Heymans met with a wide range local institutions including Canadian Region NORAD, business groups, First Nations leadership, Premier Selinger and Manitoba Government representatives, and members of Winnipeg’s diverse arts and cultural leadership.

Since arriving in Canada in April, Ambassador and Mrs. Heyman have embarked on an ambitious coast-to-coast travel schedule in order to hear from a wide range of Canadians. We were thrilled to host them in Manitoba so early in their tenure, and we hope the “taste of Manitoba” they got from their visit will inspire them to return again soon.
