Ambassador and Mrs. Heyman visit Prince Edward Island

 On their first official visit to PEI Ambassador and Mrs. Heyman met with Lieutenant Governor Lewis and his wife at their residence, Fanningbank.

Ambassador and Mrs. Heyman spent a busy week in Prince Edward Island attending the 55th Annual Premiers’ Conference and the 150th anniversary of the Charlottetown Conference, which was the first step towards Canadian Confederation. Ambassador Heyman held meetings with several premiers, local business leaders, and provincial ministers. He also co-led a discussion on U.S./Canada trade with Canadian Ambassador to the United States, Gary Doer.
