Ambassador Bruce Heyman and his wife, Vicki, visited Oakville on October 1, 2015. As part of their visit aiming at promoting bilateral business and cultural exchange opportunities between the United States and Canada, they visited Sheridan College and met with the students of the creative and digital media arts programs. Accompanied by Dr. Jeff Zabudsky President and CEO of Sheridan College and Jennifer Deighton Director of Alumni and Annual Giving, the visit included a short performance by the Canadian Music Theatre Project Festival of New Musicals, a tour of the Crafts and Design Studios as well as a screening of three student films as two students drew caricatures.
After touring Ford Canada’s Oakville Assembly Complex, Ambassador Heyman delivered a keynote address at the Oakville Chamber of Commerce’s 61st Annual Chair’s Dinner, an event attended by 400 business leaders and elected officials.
